What is exciting with this place is the vast art and culture you could experience. Georgia have been experienced numerous invasions and migrations from its neighbouring countries. It was first dominated politically and culturally by Greece and Persia and then was conquered by the Romans in the 66 A.D. and controlled Georgia for 400 years. Then Byzantine Empire and Islam culture entered during the seventh century which gave strong cultural influence to the place. With the great history of Georgia, there will be great things to see, not to mention Art and Architecture, Culture and Food. Actually, the art of Georgia spans from the prehistoric, ancient Greek, Roman, medieval, ecclesiastic, iconic and modern visual arts. If you will analyse this, it would mean that there would have been different architectural styles of castles, towers and churches to be found in Georgia. Some of the examples would be the Upper Svaneti fortifications and the castle town of Shatili in Khevsureti for medieval Georgian architecture.
Another great is that the Cross-dome architecture was developed in Georgia then was combined with the original basilica style forming the Georgian cross-dome style architecture which greatly contributed to the Christian Architecture. Before this style, most churches were basilicas. There is so much to say about this place. I have only mentioned some of its grand architecture and have not yet mentioned their great art masterpieces, their food, the religion and their cathedrals, synagogues, and mosque.
Furthermore, there is also the fascinating Old City of Tbilisi and the natural beauty of the place and enjoying the beautiful cities looking from a mountain beauty as you enjoy climbing and skiing over the slopes of Bakuriani and Gudauri, trekking along the Tergi River and Mount Kazbegi, and driving through Georgia.
Now there is one more thing to do look for Georgia tours immediately and enjoy this great place.
